I'll be stopping by Friday sometime with the tarp. I'll probably stay until about dark. I wish i could come earlier and stay later but I'm bringing Charlie and he's gotta have a nap first.

Thanks for adding me! I’ll bring some fruit. I’ll contribute to groceries, but we’re still not back in our place yet, so don’t really have a kitchen or place for prep work. Of course, with all the great cooks, y’all are probably better served with me just being a helper!

    Looking forward to next weekend-

With that many folks, I'll need the wide angle lens on the cameras. I'm grateful that the weather is looking clearer but it's gonna be mighty warm during the day. Stone cold lock for the kilt this trip.

Wow, Summer is almost here. This will be my last camping trip to Bankhead until Fall. Will be moving to higher elevations during the Summer.

Fiinally got a straight answer from my kids. First, they both want to come, need to check schedules. Then son is a yes, daughter is a no. Then last night son is a no. This morning as he rolls out of the hammock, changed his mind, wants to come. Indecision is a grizzly of a bear.

I'm gonna wait until Thursday evening to get a better head count. May just be making a smaller batch of beans for everyone. Waste not want not. I have a young man that I work with from a separate business who is sending homemade mead and lemon infused spirits for the group to sample. I've got a fresh batch of Peeps and skewers for folks to use as needed or desired.

Looking forward to seeing everyone and getting in the Sipsey for a hike. I've been physically sick in one form or another for almost a month straight. Need a recharge in the worst way. We should be there by noon or sooner Friday.
