    optimum tensioner length??

Does anyone know a way to determine the optimum length of stretch for tarp tie out line tensioners? I don't know how much silnylon stretches.

    About yea long works well.

Seriously though, 5" or 6" of shock cord should be plenty.

Silnyl stretch is reportedly 1-3 %....

JRB Self Tensioning Lines (STL) havs 4.5-5 inches of max tension per STL.
