Did anyone make their DIY sil with the 1.1 ripstop camo from sclittlefield's group buy yet? I'm interested to know if the silicone makes the fabric more downproof. I know that the moisture control could be an issue with silnylon on a down quilt, but it might be worth the hassles.
Fabric arrived yesterday (thanks SF). Need to pick up supplies.

Warm Soda - first you would need to make the tarp, then dip it. Otherwise, you'll have to spread the silicone AGAIN after you've sewn. Since folks are still getting theirs it's still probably gonna be a bit.
I'll bump this again in a few weeks then. I know DIY gear takes forever.
My tarp is done. Ready to be sil'd. Probably over the weekend.
Will report when complete.
