i already have a structural rige line on my hammock that should hold it up right? my only worry is about forgetting its there and stepping into it and riping it. ive seen somoen fall out of a skeeter hammock and into tis bug net (hammock body above) the owner was not pleased.

The exped site says it weighs 21 ounces (near a full pound more than WB's). That thing had better be able to keep out grizzly bears and deflect stray bullets. And trying to get out in the dark could be lethal.

$30 though.....

Oh pulease! I would never expect a 21 ounce bugnet to stop more than a black bear or a small caliber round.


Moontrail had it at 17 ounces. I wonder if that includes the suspension lines as well? If so, I'll save that weight by using my existing ridgeline. I'll let you know what it actually weighs and how entry/exit is handled when I get it next week,.
