Which fall hang are you referring to? I wasn't thinking of a specific hang already in progress, but if the timing is right then I wouldn't mind doing both.

Where would I look for some type of Wilderness First Aid class?

This isn't considered a highly popular class, so they don't offer it very often. My suggestion is to call the local chapter and ask them what it would take to get the class on the schedule.

I would also be interested in this for the fall. Month of Sept. would be great.

WarmSoda...you can count me in for September...it looks like Stairguy..is interested also...how many more people would be ideal to make it worth the time...

That's TWO. Normally they ask for at least six participants, but I believe that number is the minimum needed to offset the cost of the instructor. That wouldn't matter in this case. Ideally, though, we would have more than six so we can have 2 teams, one victims and another responders. It just makes it more fun and entertaining that way.

I live in Raleigh NC and would be interested.

That's THREE. And its a long drive from NC. If you fly into Minneapolis coordinate with me and we'll see if we can get you ground transportation to/from the hang.

Well, my instructor training fell through. I just missed a local class and not sure when they'll have one again. I'm going to have to look elsewhere in the state.

Well when you get your cert done, you know Timberrr and I are in for this. It would be a great course to offer at something like the Annual Florida Hang. I bet with the numbers we had last year you could fill a class.
