Extremely awkward.
Nevertheless, some of the best ideas started off as awkward design proofs. If someone could take some of the rough edges off and mass produce this for less than $20, then you might have something.
I'm...ombibulous.
How is this better than a light weight bivy?
What I find hilarious is just underneath their spiel, is an ad for "5 things only an idiot would buy"
I think that the inventor has a lot of good ideas in this product.
I would probably not buy one because:
It costs too much.
It looks waterproof which would make it sweaty during much of the year. (Maybe he should change the waterproof fabric to the DriDucks breathable type. It would also lower the price.)
Will it keep my hands warm and dry?
The ability to roll over is pretty important.
I don't see any reason to ridicule someone's invention, just offering constructive criticism.
your missing the point its an ultralight bivy that collapses inside a rain jacket.

that could be kind of interesting, if yuo roll over, and your face is suddenly full of mud

Must have taken a while to think that out. But I think it would be very hot and sweaty to wear. Didn't look like it had much ventilation. You wouldn't want to put a pack over it, and a pack wouldn't fit under it like a Packa. So for me it's a no go. $250?
