    Netless on its way

Just ordered a netless hexon1.6. Summer sock, knotty mods, and tie outs. I have a feelin it’s gonna a sweetheart sleeper. Any netless Dutch hamockers out there?

Netless != summer Netless = winter. Congrats on the new gear but I wouldn't ever consider a netless hammock in this area.

Even with a good bug net wrapped around it? I have killer bug rigs. Just wanting to see what all the fuss is about with Dutch hammock. I’ll sell it if it doesn’t work out. I just like a hammock with out the net attached. If it’s as good as the beetle buckle, I’ll be in luck

I did a Dutchware Argon 1.6 netless with summer sock with CLs to Beetle Buckles on 1" poly webbing to Adutchables last summer and slept very well in it. I used a Kitsapcowboy created APEX UQ.
This will likely be my summer party setup as it all tucks nicely into my daypack. - Just need to make the tie-outs for my tarp and it'll all travel together in one nice tidy package.

you will be good with the bugnet wrapped around it. trailslug either didn't read that you ordered summer sock with it or doesn't know what a summer sock is

I should have articulated my thoughts a bit more but was typing on my phone. I wouldn't own a non integrated bug netted hammock. To each their own but I fought one of those add on bug nets when I first started and it won. On the bright side they burn quilt well

Dutchware Netless, wife and I both have one and have loved them for years now. We use Fronkey style bugnets for the couple months bugs are an issue up here without a problem.

Dutch Netless and Fronkey bugnet is my favorite setup. Unfortunately, my beagle Joey can't deal with that setup. Beagle Joey sees an escape with the Fronkey bugnet and he spends the entire night trying to escape. Luckily, I also have a Dutch Chameleon with a zippered bugnet/topcover, which keeps Beagle Joey in place the entire night.

Maybe when Beagle Joey gets older (he just turned two years old), mellower, and has a few more hangs under his belt, he can handle a Dutch netless and Fronkey bugnet. Until then, anytime Beagle Joey comes, I'm gonna have to use the Chameleon.

I hope you ordered the summer sock with the zipper. My first hammock I ordered was a netless with a summer sock (before the chameleon, or sock with zipper). It was good, but I hated having to crawl around towards the top of the hammock to get the sock undone. Once the zippered version became available I ended up selling the non zippered one, and purchasing the one with the zipper.

I did. That looks like it might be a pain in the *** trying to get to that opening. So I did get the zipper and I appreciate the help
