Then I couldn't stop. I wanted a lighter Summer pair. So I made an orange tie dye version, duct tape, sandal. With thin straps, one being adjustable. Weighing in at 3.1 oz

    Sweet!

Both have reflector tape on them, (fashionably of course) so I can find them when I look down with my headlamp.

Thanks for the inspiration! Now I need to make my husbands camo duct tape pair. HA!

    no LAUGHING

They were my first 2 try's. As my husband pointed out, they are not supposed to be "indestructible" and could be made again if wrecked. So the first red pair are pretty hardy. So the second hippy pair are only 3oz and still very comfy.

I will still make more and alter the designs to meet my perfectionist expectation.

Again... Please no laughing. I'm totally going to wear these.

Thank you for the positive feed back! I'm on a roll. The whole family will have a pair!

I just took a wally world blue pad and traced my wally world $1.00 flip flops ad cut out. Wally world also had a large selection of duct tape colors and patterns. So I just covered each CC foam pad.
The red pair has the non slip stuff for your kitchen drawers/cabinets taped in the insoles. They REALLY grip if your feet are wet.
I also used my husbands sandals for a template for the straps. They are kind of big, but when I am wearing them without socks, i still feel my body warmth bouncing back to my feet. So they will be good for cooler temps.

Good luck if you choose to make a pair. It was interesting. My exacto knife was my friend.
