    They are for the optional reflective liner. This is supposed to add a few degrees of warmth.

    thanks Beep. There is a right and wrong way to hang it too. I am looking for the video or instructions, but no luck yet.

    Hi Mule. There is one "irregular" (for lack of a better word) corner. That goes at your left shoulder. That corner is shaped a bit to help prevent the quilt slipping under your shoulder.
