Interesting Conversation with a Texas State Park Ranger

On the index card idea:
Anybody know the link to the drawing that was done a few months back that shows the hammock hanging and the squirrel in the picture?

I thought this was a very good non-vendor specific, overview of the "camping" hammock idea. If we, as individuals, were to print this off, use extra clear packing tape to seal it and place it in our packs, we could present it to the inquisitive person as a way of spreading the word.
I feel this is a way to get around the logistics/price of having them made and sent out to members. It wouldn't need to be in color just b/w to get the point across. This way they carry away and reminder, place the website address on the thing, of what they saw and can come hear to learn and maybe get involved in our aledged "obsession"!
This is just a thought. I will post this in another to make it more available.

Wish that would work here in CT. I'm a Cop and have had no luck w/state park Rangers regarding this issue. Rules are rules...nothing is allowed to be tied around trees...the end. I'm lucky to live near and hike on the AT, plenty of trees there.
I commend the good PR work. Most (but not all unfortunately) Cops/Rangers treat people the way people treat us, a little politeness can go a long way. Again, good job.
