    shugs "over ridgeline setup" video

so i was watching shugs video on tarp talk "over ridgeline setup"
ive used this and works very well .but havent used in rain.would this be better for rain running down the RL of the tarp or would i still need a drip string aswell? or would the prussic knot work as the drip string? lol might be time to get the water hose out hahahaha..
    take care..

Running the line over the top of the tarp doesn't require a drip string or other method but running the line under the tarp might need it.

If your tarp ridgeline is going over the top of the tarp then no .... should be fine.
If it is running under the tarp ... (I only did this this winter to help with snow load) but you may get some water run in........

By the way ..... It is only Shug's ridgeline on my tarp! ..... the over the tarp ridgeline is not my concept....... Some other forum genius came up with it.
    I do so like it.
