Man, I always hate this question because I hate showing what a wimp I am. If a bag or quilt is rated to 30 degrees, it will only keep me warm at 40 or above on a good day. I had a 3-season Warbonnet Yeti (11.5 oz) underneath, rated to 30 degrees and a Western Mountaineering Summerlite (19 oz) rated to 32 degrees. I started feeling chilled at 3 am. I just now went online to a weather station that is right down the street from me and the report says the temp was 39 degrees at 3 am. Which means I am soooo predictable. Clothing -- one pair of medium weight wool socks, light cotton warm-up pants and a med. weight cotton turtle neck, and a wool cap on head.

Eine Isomatte hatte vershieden Problemen. Die sind nicht breit genug und die sind glatt. Vieleicht einer klebriger Isommatte wird besser? (z.b. http://www.gossamergear.com/cgi-bin/...thinlight.html )
I posted this about a week ago in another thread...
I got out to my stealth spot last last night. Temp was 23, humidity 75, wind out of the north/northwest at 10-15.
Used my Blackbird 1.1 dbl, Crowsnest, and WM Ultralight with Thermarest sit pad in the footbox. I'm happy to report no condensation!
I really liked the added padding under my feet. Also, I could actually feel warmth down there.
It was a beauty of a morning for some breakfast from the hammock and then I got the added bonus of finding an "antler shed" from a 8 point buck.
All secure in Sector Iowa. Go UNI Panthers!
Got out for another night, this past weekend. Temp was about 35. Feet were very warm with the sit pad. I'm liking it! PLUS IT'S NICE TO SIT ON.

I will have to experiment with one of these sit pad you guys are describing inside the footbox of my bag.
