Better late than never?

With so many things going on, this event was left in the air for a long time, but I'm happy to say that I will definitely be there! I will be bringing along a +1 this year as well! She is brand new to hammock camping, so if anyone has some spare gear, I would be very thankful. Alternatively, if anyone is looking to sell a cheap older UQ in case I don't win that raffle this year...

We are driving up from the camp we work at, and are both very, VERY excited!

This is very last minute but Jen and I are going to make it after all. Jen likes to do things the hard way and, since our first Hangcon two years ago, she has kept things interesting with medical issues. After a year of not being able to walk, she is back to full weight bearing though will still need to keep the walking as minimal as possible. Anyway, I didn't think she would be ready but she says yes so now I'm trying to figure out how to wrap up work for the week, and pack Wednesday afternoon to hopefully be on the road early evening.

If anybody has any special requests for Sugarlands Shine, please text me at 865-776-2810. I will not likely have time to check the forums until after we are on the road, which will be too late.

Very excited! Really didn't think it was going to work out for us this year again. Looking forward to seeing everybody!

Look forward to seeing you guys again. Hopefully we wont have to extinguish any stray smoke billowing camp fires lol. But lets definitely create more memories.

It is looking like I wont be making it. I am a bit worried that I may have pneumonia and I just dont think I have the strength for an 11 hour drive! Here's hoping that we see another Hangcon next year! Everyone have a great time! Someone needs to send me a souvenir

Man that is just awesome! I have been so bummed this week, with being sick thinking I might miss my last chance! I can curl up in bed miserable and know now, that I can go next year!!!!
