How are you going lighter this season?

I'm interested in how people are lightening their packs for 3 season camping.

My large sil tarp, with ridgeline cord, guyouts, tarp tensioners, snakeskins, etc. comes in at 26 ounces. My new spinn tarp with snakeskins, DIY velcro closing, all its other etcs. come in at 15 ounces. Stakes are not included because both could use 4 or 6 stakes depending on the setup.

good question, expensive question, but here goes, i got rid of my north face pack in favor of a ula circuit, saved 5 lbs there, got rid of the msr miniworks for a AHE aquasimple gravity filter, maybe a savings of 16oz, did the whoopie sling conversion on the wbbb, couple oz there did the dutch clip and 6ft tree tuggers couple more oz there. got a dehydrator and now use that for food prepping before a hike hoping to save on the wieght. Also just reading the hf to see what other people are doing to shave oz looking at muti use stuff and thats all i got to say about that cheers!!

hmm where to start. Well since I'll be doing more solo camping I'll leave the huba huba at home, and get a hammock and tarp. theres a good 2.5+lb savings. gunna try out cooking with an alchol stove. so I wont need to cary the wisperlite, probible a 10oz reduction there. then there are all the things that go with trying to carry a liter load: smaller pack, less robust foot wear. Of corse there is always the chance I might ofset any weight reductiones with a larg bag of candy.

...that's exactly why I try to reduce weight - leaving weight behind in the form of straps and heavy stoves allows me to bring other, more fun, weight like good food or a camera.

Ewker, I have a Six Moon Design Wild Oasis tarp/tent/bugnet combo that weighs in at 12 oz (?) that I don't use anymore and will sell cheap if you are interested.

Lot's of big changes for me this season:
Opie's whoopie slings instead of stock ropes (4oz saved), Leigh's v2.0 UQ instead of the HH Under Cover and pad (5oz saved), GG G4 pack instead of ILBE (4.5 POUNDS! saved), Platypus instead of Nalgene (11.4 oz saved on two Nalgene versus one 2L Platypus), and JRB quilt instead of synthetic sleeping bags (3.5 POUNDS! saved).

I'm at an 11.5 dry base pack weight this year, which is down from over 20 pounds last year, and that is without even having to give up comfort items.
