Might be able to swing this- would be driving down from Olympia on the 17th- so likely there after dark. Any particular equipment needed for this particular area? Haven't done snow camping- just freeze your tail off camping!
Question — any permit required? If so, how would I pick one up?
Found it... Sno-Park permit needed, can be ordered at https://dmv2u.oregon.gov/eServices/_/#2
... but is sent via snail mail (14 days) unless you buy the annual permit which gets you an emailed temporary permit. That’s what I did since I’m out of state and can’t just drop into a DMV location.
Since this is a holiday weekend (MLK) I‘ll plan to stay until Monday morning.
Can get em at bi-mart, FS ranger station, and other sports stores.
