    Columbia River Gorge Hang

    Howdy folks!

From looking at the member Google map I see there there are a fair amount of NW folks on here from all over, Western Washington area going down into the Willamette Valley...etc.

So I was wondering if any of y'all would have any interest in organizing a hike-n-hang one one of the many trails in the Columbia River Gorge?

Mac, we could ride in a boxcar all the way. No worries!

Seriously though, keep talking it up Widerstand. These things start out small, and then everyone wants to come. You might have to go do it once alone or with friends and post a report to get it started.

I was thinking of some trails that I have done in the past and Eagle Creek to Wahtum Lake is a good one, its 26miles round trip which I think is good since most people can do a 13 mile day to get out to the lake...etc. if that's to far there are shorter hikes.

Maybe some photos will help to get people thinking some?

    Eagle Creek to Wahtum lake

I had the pleasure of making the Eagle Creek to Wahtum Lake hike with bigfoot2 last fall. An excellent hike and bigfoot2 is a lot of fun to hike with.

CRG is a beautiful area. Nice pics of the proposed hike. Hang in there.

I am interested. It is quite a trek out that way though. You can list me as a possible.
