    we can set one up for the fall LLR ...maybe by ten i can do a section ...
    will know more on the 15th of june
    It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

    watch out for Mnt Lions....and i'm not kidding

    should have no problems with water we had lots of rain as of late...
    It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

    I've found that bringing a Dog is always helpful. My budy brings his White Ger Shep, and she always alerts us to someone or something on the trail long before we can see or hear anything.

    I think I saw Dutch on the trail once... it was this bright light being carried BY his backpack... really strange... But everyone knows Dutch doesn't carry his backpack... it jumps off and carries HIM!

    no joke at all...we do have them in the area...and one has been seen near by

    i'v seen one a year ago...and i know of a guy who killed one and stuffed it

    the Game commission keeps telling everyone that there not in the area to save there own hides....if you ever seen a bobcat...well a mnt lion is about 2x the size with a long tail...

    yeah...sounds like him...
    but duth's backpack doesn't carry him....it walks with him
    i mean...he is the greatest hiker ever....

    My dad used to always tell stories when I was a kid about lions following the Susquehanna down river , but I figured those days were gone. Not that this is near there.
    I`m hitting the AT next weekend at Swatara Gap, I guess I will keep the kid tethered to me at night. Probably need to anyways.

    from what i have been told they released some in PA to re-populate the area...this is what i was told how true it is i dunno but from what i seen and know...i think it is...they didn't get here on there own
