So my thread injector is on the way - which thread and needles do i need to get?

My projects are going to be the usual: tarps, quilts and hammocks.

    Thanks in advance.

I use multipurpose needles and nothing but polyester thread, the best I can find,
Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.

Glad to see you've taken the plunge into DIY. Have fun, take pictures and let us see what you make.

BTW - missed you at the East Texas Hang.

I usually use a size 9 or 11 needle for nylon. 12 or 14 for thicker stuff.

It's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

What he said. Gutermans is pretty much the best, and not much more expensive. Go ahead and get the 1000m spool, you'll use it up eventually.
