So after the stress of defending the Fort against Gorge Rat invaders we decided to enjoy the nice spring evening and lounge in the hammock, campfire some hot dogs and toast marshmallows while the sun set.
Not really a trip but a nice time lounging in the hammock, can't wait for a bit warmer weather--of coarse that brings out the bugs, so this was great.

I grew up in southeastern WA and roamed all over WA, ID and MT when I got old enough to drive legally (until then I was restricted to the county). You are lucky to have a spouse that will live in such a beautiful area.
My spouse was born and raised in Philly and considers herself deprived if she doesn't have all of the requisite facilities of a major metropolitan area readily available. I'm just lucky that she's able to put up with me.
