I love Jeff's use of raisenettes hahahaha

My son is 3, but he loves to hike as long as I go really slow for him.
Psalm 19:1-3 "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard."

that's a point of the utmost importance. for quite a few years i organized & led backpacking & camping trips & day hikes.
it didn't take long to figure out that if i want the people w/ me to enjoy the trip, i had to be aware & respect there comfort level.
of course there are times when you need to encourage them to push on or go a little faster, but ya have to be thoughtful about their ability & if it's really necessary.
if i'm just getting impatient because i'd like to move faster, but that would mean my hiking partners will be exhausted when we get there, i just need to chill out & enjoy being able to look around & think as we walk slow.
I too will something make and joy in it's making
