Anybody ever use "EZC 2" Line ??

Came across this stuff today while I was browsing around Gossamer Gear website...

    http://www.gossamergear.com/cgi-bin/...zc_2_line.html

Thought it might be a neat idea or hammock/tarp stake lines.

Anybody every use it? Think it would be a good or bad idea for stakeout lines?

Might be to thick for some for use as guy lines but should work well for ridgelines. It will hold a knot, such as a prusik, better that Zing It/Fling It line that alot are using for the continual ridgeline. It looks alot like Kelty Trip line. Buy some and let us know!

I have it on both of my tarps...

I like it a lot, it seems to not tangle very easily and is very easy to see with a headlamp..

It's like the line that Ed Speer sells except it has a reflective strand woven into the sheath.

I found it yesterday as well and was thinking about getting some for the tarp tie outs. Glad you started this thread.

Love it. Certainly not too thick IMO.

I currently use something similar for my tarp ridge lines. It's called 3/32 tether cord. It is much like 'shrunken' paracord but it is a lot less stretchy. I am contemplating a change to zing-it/lash-it but this stuff is cheap and quite easy to use. It also hols a knot very well.

    Hey All,

I got some of this stuff delivered.

I am using it to hold my tarp up and for my guidelines.

Overally, I would say this stuff is super slick. I often find myself needing to do a double knot to get things to stay in place. Kind of a bummer.

I am impressed with the strength of it, that is for sure. Very very impressed.

Overall, I think if I could get past how slick it is, this could be a very awesome line for my on-going usage. Strength verses size is very nice.
