    Intro

    Hello any and/or all.

I am a frequent camper, and love multiday canoe trips. I hike and try to travel light, but after looking at some of the posts, I can see that I am not as concerned about weight as some. I wear a 50 lb pack and push mow the lawn takes about 2 hours, to try to stay use to the weight. My neighbors think I'm strange, I am sure most of you will also, lol. I am currently making my first hammock, strictly experimental, I had a military jungle hammock, but no side entry was a pain, and I wasn't happy with it so...here I am.

    thanks

Welcome to the forum. I used to have a heavy pack, but the benefits are so much rewarding by cutting weight down a little here and a little there. Whether it's comfort, weight, or the fiddle factor, I'm sure you'll glean something from the threads. Making your own gear isn't hard at all, so make sure you share photos and vid of your projects!
