ive heard some talk about this stuff .. but not sure what size to get as ive never bought this for my hammock ..how light is the stuff?

Haven't read the definitive mason line thread, but I'm sure this is covered.

Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart all sell mason's twine in twisted/stranded and braided. Get only the braided. It's orange, pink and yellow.

In the fishing aisle of walmart, they sell a green and black braided twine for rigging trot lines and such. It might be called bait rigging twine. This is what I bought and like it. If I remember correctly, it even had a "test" strength printed on the wrapper like fishing line. I don't use it structurally, so "test" doesn't matter.
