Great to see another from JC on here. I just joined last week. Trying to pimp my hammock out without spending all my time fantasizing about it. My brother (GA_MTN_MAN) and I are going to the GA/SC border this weekend to try out some set ups. We just purchased some Amsteel 7/64" to make our own Whoopie Slings. I can't wait to put my new hammock to the test in the wilderness.
Shoot me a message if you ever hear of an outing. I will do the same.

Got a HH Exped Asym for Valentine's Day from my beautiful wife. I've hung a couple times for daytime naps and I'm super excited about doing an overnight soon. I'm in my third and final year of a doctoral physical therapy program at ETSU, equating to me having negative money. I desperately want to pimp my hammock out with a cool UQ, a new suspension, a bigger tarp and the zipper mod, but that'll have to wait a year or so. For now, I'll have to make due with my Exped Synmat pad (maybe I can talk my wife into a Speer SPE...) and the backpacking gear I already have. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the helpful posts here. Thank you all for making the transition from ground dweller to ewok so easy!

It's super fon. You throw freesbees at cages. IF you're lucky they catch it. That's the hole. I have buddies that took me before, and I loved it. I keep meaning to buy "discs," but I don't know what to get.
My one boddy was a pro, and he did this cool thing called tubro putting. Experts only!
