    Underquilt use on HH A-sym?

So I set up my new side-zip Expedition and was toying around with my underquilt (a Stormcrow monster 3/4 ). I was having a heck of a time getting it to snug up under my shoulder. It seems like the UQ needs an extra attachment point or two on the side edges to keep it from sliding off the shoulder.
What are other people doing to solve this problem? My sewing machine is currently broken, so I can't do anything that way.

Bonus, I broke my hammock stand just now so I can't even play around with ideas at the moment...

That stinks about your hammock stand buddy. I think you have one of the earlier versions (and one of the few lucky ones to get the RealTree camo) that did not have some of the grosgrain tie outs on it. If you would like to mark along the edge the best place for a tie out to fit your hammock I will put it/them on for free of course. I will even pay the postage to send it back. It should have a same day turn around time.

    Great service from Storm!

In the meantime just don't use the side tieouts. This will allow the quilt to come up around your shoulder and wrap to your body to keep in place. I don't use the tie outs when it is cold because the quilt will wrap around better and be warmer.

Indeed it is one of the early RealTree camo quilts! It's even featured in those pics on your site. I love this thing.

Thanks a TON for the offer, SC! I think I will be able to DIY fix it... going to borrow the mother in law's sewing machine tomorrow
