    SB pro from Puerto Rico

    Hello all,

Just back from my honeymoon last Sunday evening. I got a chance to go back home but did the tourist thing and didn't stay with family so we could have more, private time, ya that's it. I wanted to share a few pics, mostly to brag but to show off my hammock a little too.

We rented a condo that most people use for there weekend homes so it was pretty quiet until Saturday, if felt like being on our own deserted island. except when we went out to dinner or the grocery for stuff to cook and beer runs.

I used a SB pro with included suspension for simplicity.

    Setting up in one tree.

so here is the view from my hammock most of the the trip.

Enjoying a Medilla light and reading Man on Fire. ( only beer brewed on the island)

    View from the condo

A few pointer now about the SB pro, If you don't need or want to use the Netting Just flip it over and use it like a regular hammock. While flipped over you can use the stuff sack as a empty can receptacle .

any body got any tips for washing the Hammock I spilled a little beer in the stuff sack from my empties and a week of sweat and sea water it could use a bath?

My wife is from San Sebastian. We haven't been down to PR in a while. Your pictures gave me a twinge. Thanks for posting them.

The netting on the Skeeter Beeter is delicate so i would suggest hand washing it using a mild detergent (or you can just soak it in warm water for a bit too), make sure you rinse it well, then just hang to dry.

    BTW...Great view from the hammock.

run a few inches of water in the tub- add a few tablespoons of fabric detergent and swish, soak, swish a few times, hold it under the shower to rinse; or repeat soak, swish with a couple changes of water, and hang up in an out of the way spot to dry- should not take too long, since it is only nylon, rigt?
