I use 1.75mm zing it for my ridgeline not dg, I double wrap and sheathe dynaglide whoppie suspension that gets larksheaded to the hammock end in a paracord sheath.

I guess I could use trailsticks for the bb tieouts to go even lower, 16.6 or 17.1 would be the case then.

good idea w/ the zing-it and sheathing! but isn't the 2mm dynaglide lighter than the 1.75 zing it and larger dia. too.

why use the zing it if you have the dynaglide available?

i'm looking for some dynaglide by the foot...BTW

I have not weighed the zing it vs dg, but just by looking at them the zing it is way way thinner, they are both dynemma, I just don't see how the dg could be ligZhter than the zing it. I use 6 inch buries and make a locked Brummel on the end opposite te whoppie.

You can replace the amsteel with dg easily in your case. I need go clarify , I am using zing it on my ridgeline without sheathing(no need for It). I am using dg on my Suspension whoppies(the ones my tree straps connect to via nacra biner. These suspension whoppies are in a paracord sheath.
