Tripping on the Light Fantastic

Oh! sorry, wrong century, wrong decade!

But I am tripping Going where the Wild Things Are.

Leaving tomorrow morning to pick up the AT at the Atkins/Groseclose, VA I-81 crossing on Tuesday around noon. Planning to hike until about April 21 to somewhere around Buena Vista, VA(????). If you happen to be on the trail in that area, would be happy to have some fellow hangers plod along with me. Pearisburg around April 4/5 and Daleville around April 12/13.

Meeting Ed "Cedar Tree" Hinnett, or Mrs. Hinnett, on Tuesday to pick up a new Packa to replace my old rain suit. Lighter is better.

Hey guys, thanks for the encouragement. I'm back from 20 days on the trail. Will post some details and pics later this week or early next week. A long and strenuous trip for an ol' dog, especially coming from the flatlands of south GA
