That is actually a great pack! It is my pack of choice for winter trips in New England's White Mountain National Forest. At only 3 lbs. it will hold all the high volume winter sleeping & clothing items plus, lots of extra food and fuel for safety's sake. In addition, with a real frame, it will carry the snowshoes and crampons required for such a trip.
Did I mention that it is the most comfortable pack I have? ...Out of 9 packs, speaking of the need of a closet cleaning :-)
