    Could always change ... but my thoughts were to hike up to where the holes in the rocks are ... Camp Hobo but that might change. Another thing would depend on the trail work crew and where they are.

    But can make that call later next week. Should have some updates on where the contract crew is located next week.

    wisen......i am trying to convince my self to bring the KK too ..... I reallllly want to use it. It will depend on if I do a 3 mile or 10 mile hike. Ohhhhhh I want to bring it tho......Oh and a good woodchopper to fuel it too.......

    Ok...what can i leave...shelter...insulation...food.....clothes... ....hmmmmmm....touch choices......

    Heck, mine is the 3.5 lb stainless one. I'd probably bring a few pieces of fat wood. with fatwood, anything else will burn be it dry, green or polka dotted.
    Still, easy to justify on a river trip, but a gorge hike....tough..tough.
