RE: Your stock HH tarp
If you've got the time in May (13-16), it's not a long drive for you to Damascus, VA and Trail Days. HH will have a booth. I don't use my HH anymore; but, have seen that *properly* rigging that tarp will keep you dry in hurricane conditions. I've seen it hold up very well in rough winds/rain. However, I like LOTS of room and use a Speer Winter Trap.
And...! You will have a chance to see all the UQ vendors who will be there and they always have "Specials" which can save you some money. Most, if not all, of the UQ's others have mentioned will be there.
Interestingly, HF will have a presence at T-Days and I understand quite a few here on HF will be hanging around...
