    Too much clothing is ONLY an issue if the clothing causes retention of too much moisture OR if the clothing restricts circulation. Proper clothing CAN be a good insulator. Most often when people sleep in their clothing, it's the wrong stuff. Not to mention often being bulky, heavy and uncomfortable.

    Wear long/thick underwear and socks. What mostly bothers me is the temporary cold when I shift. I wear thick socks and thick long underwear. This way if I shift around it's not a big deal. It's a game changer.
