They charge an extra $10 to ship to Canada. I've ordered 2 tarps to Toronto and used the $5 coupon. So far I've only got the order confirmation, but it's on backorder until May 5th.
Is this for a hammock or a circus? 16.5' is huge!
i think im hgoying to buy this see how it goes
Just placed an order to cover a two hammock setup. Promises a May 4th delivery. Do the #4 HH snakeskins work on this thing?
I have to give a big thumbs up for this tarp. We experienced monsoon-quality winds and rain last Saturday night. I dropped the tarp down to the ground prior to the worst of the weather, even though my fellow campers wouldn't let me stay in the hammock because of the storm. I spent the night in a pop-up trailer next to my site.
When I went out to check my equipment the next morning, the bottom of the hammock was damp due to ground splashes, but everything else was completely dry. Better still, the tarp and my home-made skins dried quickly in the morning breezes, allowing me to pack it up without worrying about it getting everything else around it wet.
The night before we experienced enough rain to gather about a quart of water in a pool on top of my tarp, but nothing seeped through. I was able to push up against the back side to get the water off, and the tarp sprang back into shape. Aside from needing to get self-tensioning lines to keep the tarp taut, this tarp performed flawlessly. Money well spent.

Just ordered two. The coupon codes someone posted above are now expired, but you can still get $5 off orders >$25 with coupon code BF863. (I just googled "bargain outfitters coupon codes" and tried some from the first site that popped up. Saved $5 so I paid $5 for upgraded shipping.)
Hopefully they're in stock before it says they are! If not I'll have to deal with a giant blue tarp for a night or two I'm planning on doing soon.
I know 12X12 is huge, but if I get it and find it's too big I'll just cat-cut the edges smaller. Still less expensive and less work than building from scratch (I tried - way out of my skill/patience level!)
