As spring draws closer and we have an estimate on number of campers and number of chefs and an idea of types of food…Then good guesses can be made about how much food.

If temperatures are forecast to be mild and no rain then our numbers will be higher. And if it’s cold and rainy, then many will take a pass.

If you are cooking for many, a tip jar will help recoup your expenses, although probably not at 100%

I might bring some deserts as a side dish in our pot luck meal or meals. But my offerings will not be substantial, so I won’t need any money.

I reckon this meal or meals will be Saturday lunch and or supper

Nyrsimon, we look forward to seeing you at Yates. After reading all posts in this thread, you will have a good read on our group of rugged individuals, coffee drinkers and spinners of tall tales.

It looks like I'll be in NC during that week, so I'll extend my travel plans to make it. Prolly just Friday/Saturday but should be fun!

Iceman, you'll see some of the same crazies you meet at GHSP.

Not going to be able to make it Yates this time. Just got slammed with more work recently. My apologies to Uncle Bubba. No Grandma's cookies this time. I did get to enjoy some last night though. Maybe this picture will tide you over until the next hang.
