I have been doing this with a piece of bungee cord since I first go my BB. I put a tab or two on all my UGs and use them on all. By the way, I also have one at my left shoulder.
Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.

Y not just use a 'biner on the tie out? Weight? Or is it an asym problem you're working around?

I do just use a biner on my Clark and Claytor. I think the triangles help bring the quilt up at a better angle on the WBBB and HH due to the asym lay and length of these hammocks. Some people have had problems with the quilts slipping off shoulder and put tabs etc near shoulder. With these triangles the tabs are not necessary on the WBBB.

I used the triangles on my Traveler last night. It works just as well as it does on my BB!

I used mine on my WBBB with Lies quilt and they worked great. I plan on using them with the IX underquilt also.

This is indeed brilliant. I wonder if you could create the same thing with a fixed triangle of some simple mason line, zing-it or lash-it? Something like 3 Alpine Butterfly loops with small biners, clips or whatever you have to connect to the UQ and end of hammock?

Does this make any sense? Just thinking. Will try it next week.

If I understand your comment correctly, you could possibly create one with one of AHE's or Opie's long chain links/closed loops and three smaller loops or Nacrabiners spaced where you need them on the larger loop.

For the gram weenies out there this may be even lighter than a fabric triangle, and will also allow an adjustment to the size of the triangle depending on the hammock/UQ combination used.

    Just my $0.02.
