Can somebody clear that up for me.. and planing on a HH skin for the Warbonnet Superfly
Yep, when you order from Hennessy Hammocks all you have to do is put you want the number 4 in the comments section. I originally ordered the #3 but after I was done I sent an email to them to make sure that my order # changed to the #4. I wanted it to fit my larger tarp and it gulps it right up. Hope that helps!

When I ordered my Snakeskins, they told me that they are only selling the #4 and upgraded me to them. They are the biggest and worked out for me anyway since I like the under shelter and tarp inside when I break camp.

    Here is the Big Mamajamba:

The Hennessy Snakeskin: By the way they fit PERFECT! #4#4#4#4

    Here's another:

Another of them waiting to go on:

It really doesn't look like that it will fit when it's all set up but when you packing it away it cannot be beat! ..(unless I made my own with no-see em).

All in all this Snakeskin fit my tarp easily! ... So go head and buy that Snakeskin you wanted..... it will fit! The Big Mamjamba is 11ft at the ridge line!
So when you fold up the packed snakeskins, there's no problem with getting it into a compact package to fit in to your backpack?

I also have a Big Mamajamba tarp and blackbird hammock, and I am able to wrap both, together, in one set of #4 snakeskins. Makes for nice storage.

pgustaf249 -- When I have both tarp and hammock wrapped in snakeskins, I just fold the snakeskin together several times and then place that under the top lid of my backpack and hike with it stowed like that.

So are most of your guys putting both the hammock and tarp in the same set of snakeskins or are you using one set for each. It seems that, by putting both in one, after a rain you would be putting a wet tarp in along with a dry hammock which somewhat defeats the purpose of protecting the hammock from the rain in the first place. Please help clear up the fog in my head.

I put both in skins, but I have a mesh bag for those occasions when tarp is wet.

I have two sets of the snakeskins. One set for the tent and the other set for the tarp.

I completed a five-day backpacking trip a couple of weeks ago in which it rained every day. If one brings the bottoms of the tarp together then rolls those with the hammock between tarp sides, the hammock will not get wet. Despite packing my hammock and tarp in the same snake skins each day with a wet tarp, my hammock never got wet.
