    I can honestly Say that OldGringo has a very nice Van hanging setup... He was the envy at the Mt Magazine hang while the storm was passing through the 1st night... high winds with trees falling...

    Not sure about in a van but I did have
    A K5 blazer with a lift I could of hung a
    hammock underneath it from bumper to bumper
    Maybe the axles would have been in the way
    But your bum would not touch the ground for that in sure

    Now that is the perfect help in visualizing how it would fit. Great video jason!! Thanks.

    Since the van is a beater I won't even worry about scratching the van so no need for the tiedown even. That is a tight fit though.

    used to hang 2 8ft hammocks in my VW van from the front window to the back hatch back...it worked better than a tent.
