    The Hammock Battle!

Alright its time for a hammock battle royal!
I have been recently looking for a new hammock for my wife
and have realized that there are alot of hammocks out there.
What is your favorite hammock and least favorite hammock,
pros and cons, likes and dislikes. Be nice but i think this could be a great way for people to get an overview of the good and the bad of all those great hammocks out there.

I love my Warbonnet and somewhat dislike my ENO (hate is too strong of a word). More specifically, I dislike the slap strap system on the ENO. It stretches a lot. I've been in and ENO with a set of Opie's whoopie slings and liked it. But, hands down for me is the Warbonnet. It's roomy and very comfortable. I have to contend with lots of big bugs where I live, so the integrated bug nest is a must for my hammocks.

I love my JRB bridge for the simplicity and flatness of lay. I hate my ENO doublenest. In the two years I've owned it I've never been able to get comfortable in it.

Hmmmm. My favorite isn't being made anymore, so I guess I'll vote Blackbird. Although, 'favorite' is a pretty relative word in this situation. If I want to go lightweight, the Blackbird isn't my favorite.

I only have one hammock I hate and I'm not sure it's a strong enough word: Parrot Bay's Key Largo Deluxe. Terrible hammock IMO.

I like my ENO hammocks; very comfortable for me.

I love my HH with 2QZQ Mod ... and will love it even more with a new mod they're doing for me this week. It's new and I'll review it when I get back to the states ... It's taking my HH to the unnatural level of love

Love my ENO's ... hate with a passion the slapstraps but I got them on the cheap ... so not so bad.

Love my DIY ENO clone even more than my ENO ... and my new clone is coming so we'll see how that works out. Might take awhile longer than anticipated since the blonde has a Honey-do list from H$LL waiting my return, my dogs need attention in the woods, and Linville Gorge is calling me

WARNING: Will discuss Rhurbarb Strawberry Pie and Livermush at random.

*I love my DIY hammock best.
*My BlackBird when I need skeeter protection ... love the integrated bug netting way off of my head area. All in one package. Don't like staking it out but it IS worth it.
    * My GrizzBridge is coming on strong vying for a spot .... I did not want to like it but I like it .... a lot.

    Spill your guts, man!

I just sent my new HH Desert Rat to 2Q/ZQ for a zipper mod so now you've got me worryin' about what else I could have them do to it while they've got it!

I have one of the old original Henneseys (blue & Yellow) that I have slept well in for years (before I knew there was anything else or this forum)- thought the bottom entry was just a necessary evil. Now that i know about the zipper mods, Ill probably do it. I bought an WBBB and love that one, so its my go to hammock for bug season. also have an Eno, like it minus slapstraps. Will purchase a traveler sometime and see how that compares to the eno.

Also tempted to try the switchback just for the fun of it and to add to my collection...

Bought my wife a Blackbird and liked it so well, I bought one for me. Sold my HH Exped Asym with the ZQ mod. I knew it wasn't going to get much use while I had two WBBBs. Hate is way too strong a term. I enjoyed many comfortable nights, especially after the zipper mod. I would prefer to say I just prefer the Blackbird.

I have a ENO doublenet. I took off the suspension and replaced it with Whoppie slings and straps. Also added a SRL made from WS. I added a bugnet, fly, and AHE underquilt. I now have it dialed in
