The outer shell has a DWR finish to it. So that means it remains breathable but it will shed light moisture. It is important that the outer shell have some breathability and not be waterproof. It is a condensation thing.

I thought that was the case but thought I'd ask. Thanks stormcrow for the reply.

I've got 5 nights with my incubator now. Here's something i noticed, took a few nights to figure it out. Not stormcrows fault. On my blackbird, with the shelf staked out, the shelf seems to interfere with the hang of the quilt and cause some gaps for cold air sneak in. Once adjusted properly the incubator is toasty!

The photo below has nothing to do with an under quilt...but i thought i would post it any way. Nothing wrong with a good chuckle.

That quilt really is a work of art. Might just have to order one for my winter setup!

I just got my 3-Season Incubator and Burrow, as well as a prototype pillow, yesterday. I can't wait to try them out. I have the olive green just like Hulk. Good to know about the shelf. I'll make adjustments accordingly.
Proving to the world that I can hang.
