Hard place to find to hammock around house?

Just cracked me up a bit. Went behind the house and setup between two pine trees and our lake. It's beautiful. But, there are tons of houses all around. I must have had around 3 flashlights shine on me from their backyards. I finally gave up and went in. I guess that I did look a bit strange. Bummer. Anyone else have a hard time finding a place to hang?

Ignore the neighbors! They'll get used to it.

First time I was in my hammock in the front yard, trying to be obvious, the neighbor across the street told me that I looked too relaxed. The other neighbors from across the street at first thought I was nuts, but eventually they both tried it out. Now when I am out there I get looks but they just wave and shake their heads.

Keep hanging, it your space!!!!!! Don't let them invade it!!!!!!

I'm with you. The only problem was that the lights were keeping me up and I don't sleep in any clothes! Just kidding. Giving it another go very soon.

I'll put on an eye mask, then you don't see the lights.

I slept on the patio (installed eye-bolts last week) over the weekend and just used a bandanna as a sleep mask. Now, I just need to figure out how to get the alarm to work when wearing earplugs, as the cars going by were far too noisy!

I tried taking a nap in my front yard once - neighbors kept coming by to wake me up and ask me if I was taking a nap!

One more shining example from the Department of the Blatantly Obvious.
