    NO!

Call it the 10 commandments plus ?? "The Bill of Rights" ?? "Constitutional Amendments" ?? "Errata" ?? "lagnaippe" ??

I missed this one when it first started (must have been practicing, #1). This is great! Thank you for bumping this up to everyone's attention.

You folk have hit all the bases plus some. The only thing I can think of is:
Thou shalt go to church, i.e. Hammock Forums.net, and get motivated, do it, and share your learnings with others.

    Might I respectfully request:
"Thou shall read daily from the "Words of Wisdom" {ie hammockforums.net} and teach your children and your children's children"
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

    11. Thou shalt convert the ground dwellers
under this could be 'thou shalt share thy gear', because once you try it the purpose of trees becomes obvious and you'll never go back to the ground unless you have to.

but also, I think this could turn into two different lists. One for the newly converted and one for the unconverted. The converted list for new hammock folk who would be encouraged to share (like me, I already have a growing pile of gear after only one season). And a list for the unconverted who may be heading out for the first time with some gear that has been shared with them.

    Thumbs up Commandments

Hi you guys, I enjoyed reading all the comments and the commandments, and agree entirely with making it a sticky, especially for newbies such as myself, Don'T Know what you will make of my interpretation of the word Hammock and this forum but here goes :-
    H--Hang
    A---About
    M--Many
    M--Men,
    O--Out
    C--Come
    K--Knowledge.
This I feel is the result of this forum, as there is such a wealth of knowledge to be shared.
    Happy Hammocking Bill.

I might add to #6 something along the lines of "Neither shalt thou wear thy shoes inside; they are offensive in Our sight."
