I saw this article over on Whiteblaze but unfortunately it did not mention the hiker's trailname - anyways here is the article: http://www.goupstate.com/apps/pbcs.d...onCat=BUSINESS

I may be wrong, but that might be Hangman. I think I hang next to him at a shelter in Maine.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?
The hanger formly known as "hammock engineer".

    Nate/HE,

Saw you were on the site today.....Did you pick up your JRB proto type 1 Bear Mountain Bridge Hammock yet? Forgot to check if you are carring an under quilt or if we need to send you one.... Let us know.

Yippee, I can publicly thank Peter Pan and Smee, aka the Jack of Jacks R Better, for helping out a thru-hiker in need. My hat is off to you for doing this.

I sat it up tonight and it felt really good. It is thunderstorming tonight so I decided to stay at the hikers welcome hostel. Tomorrow night will be night 1.

Thanks for the UQ offer. I sent my UQ to Hanover along with my hammock with Balitmore Jack. I am going to try to use my ccp for the next 2 nights and see. That would help me drop 25oz from the pack. If not I'll pick the UQ back up.

    HE,

Let us know how the CCP works for you....the pad pocket will take up to a 26 inch wide pad.... standard 20 inchers may still be a little narrow for side warmth... but you will have a narrower profile sleeping on your side vs back, to heal the tailbone injury
