www.whiteblaze.net - the AT forum that has a hammock camping subforum. We started there, then got so much hammock talk that we split to start our own site. WB had politics and religion threads, and the disagreements there often spilled over into the regular hiking forums...it wasn't pleasant anymore to post there for a while. It's gotten better from what I can tell on the short trips I take there outside of the hammock subforum, though.

Oh I was thinking War Bonnet then maybe Warner Brothers...Darn acronyms I feel like I'm in the Army again.

I'd be down for a virtual flash mob. I've put it on my calendar.

As far as the acronym thing goes... just write it out and avert people having to look up the acronym. IMHO

I heartily agree!!! If the original poster would even type out the original phrase, then put the acronym in paranthesis, the acronym could be used in that post if wanted. Just like this thread, the acronym had to be explained in yet another post. I don't think it really saves much, and sure can be frustrating.

I have April 26th, 9pm on the calendar, it should be fun!
