I'm looking at making a both a top and under quilt. I'm planning on using 2.5oz climashield apex on both. My question is which fabric should I use for the shell? And do I want a different shell fabric for the top/under?
Fabrics I'm debating between are 1.1oz ripstop nylon, Impetus 1.1 or 1.0, M90, or nobul (1 or 2).
Down the road how would this answer change if I decided to use down (thinking this fall I will make a winter quilt)? I know there are a lot of right answers, thanks for any info/opinions.
