What is the difference between Lash-It and Zing-it? They appear to have similar properties except for color.

100% the same other than the color. That's it.

Thanks. I thought that might be the case as I could not find any Sampson specs for the Zing-It.
here it 'tis

They don't appear to have a page just for Lash-it
Product code is 811 for both.
Opps, there is one difference. At least at Reddenmarine. The two different lines come in different standard spool lengths for whatever the reason.
each comes in 180' spools but the zing-it comes also in 1000' but lash-it in 600'. Maybe folks just like yellow more than grey.

Oh yeah -Strike that and reverse it. It was the Lash-It that I could not find specs for.Thanks. I thought that might be the case as I could not find any Sampson specs for the Zing-It.
With a little more snooping about the Sampson site - I find that Lash-it does have its own page - its listed under - recreational marine - kite/wakeboard/waterski lines - lash-it
http://www.samsonrope.com/index.cfm?...ope=168&inst=1
It is also found in their recreational marine catalog - pages 19 & 24 - where it is referred to as 'the sailor's duct tape'
But Zing-it is listed under - arborists - climbing and rigging accessories - zing-it
http://www.samsonrope.com/index.cfm?...ope=168&inst=1
and also in their Arborist catalog. Where they list its use as a throwing line. page 11
No accounting for their classification listing - bottom line - they are both product 811 , -- different use descriptions in their respective catalogs, same use application notes on their product page description - different in color , and come in different spool lengths. Yellow to be seen in the trees and grey to be not noticeable. But really just the same line.

Just don't be fooled as I was. Fling-It is not the same. Trying to do burys with Fling it is much tougher.
