    Atlantic Canada Hangs?

Does anyone know if such a thing even exists? I'm in NB Canada, and I've yet to see anyone else sleeping in a hammock around here.

Welcome Nbflyfishing. There's a group of folks in Nova Scotia these days. Not sure How far from you in miles but i'm sure their going to chime in to your query soon.

Hey nbflyfishing! I'm just down the road from you in ST STEPHEN NB and I hang. I am going to GRANDMANAN ISLAND this weekend for hike ( check out grandmanan's 40 km lighthouse trail for a great hike) with some friends and I'll be hanging. Hangers are like the eastern cougar around here, you may not see them but there out there !

Nice to meet you both, and know I'm not alone.

I was thinking NB Day Weekend (I think it's called something else in NS) in Sackville, NB would be a great time/location for a Maritime meet. It's pretty central to everyone in the Maritimes, and there is also a great Music / Art fest.

Hi nbflyfishing, myles to go, mbiraman. There is a group of us hangers here in NS. We just had a hang in Keji a couple of weeks ago. Cool and wet weekend but we had a great time.
Maybe we should have another get together so we can all meet up and "hang" out. Any one know of a good location and willing to start the ball rolling? If so I am in. I haven't slept on the ground in about 12 years and average 50 nights a year in my hammocks.

As I said before NB day in Sackville NB would be great - July 30 to August 1.

The local camp ground is owned by a very nice family, and I'm sure if we had a group going they could set us near some trees. My Jeep is also good for tying off on.

    Anyone up for that?

Also part of the NS hangers here!

I will be checking my schedule and would love to venture up to NB. I am in Bedford so it is not a long trip.

I have attached ideas for a Canadian cold weather hanger flag

You meant a Nova Scotia cold weather hanger flag, right?

    Cheers
