Hands down my favorite looking hammock is the clark brand. I laid in in an NX-250 for a few moments at one of our hang outs and I really liked it. The price is one thing that I have a hard time swallowing. I plan on going to Utah in a month or two and want to stop by the clark shop to try out some more of their hammocks. I really want to know I will like the hammock prior to spending that kind of money.

I absolutely love my Clark NX-200. Sure it was expensive but it came with almost everything that is needed. Just added the KAQ underquilt from Arrowhead Equipment and I was set to go Four Season here in the South.

Glad there are allot of happy Clark owners out there. I own 3 of them and they all get used sometimes not by me but friends who have never slept in a all season hammock and others that just want to try one out.

I have loaned three of them out to other friends around the US to let them see what they think.

I am a true Clark fan. and just last weekend i spent 4 day's in the vertex 2 person hammock and loved it. In fact it was better than the first time.

That said I still love my Blackbird and superfly tarp. And both kinda stay in my truck for those times i just don't know when I am going to need something to lay in. Like when coming back from texas a month ago from work down there I got early one morning and pulled off a off ramp and slept on the other side of the road on the on ramp just put it up on the side of the road and turned truck off locked the doors and stealth camped there for about 6 hrs. got up and made the trip home.

hammock are the best thing since a front pocket on a shirt.

    later all

LOL! I did the same thing!

I loved my NA, but sold it off to buy a NX-250. Fantastic hammock!

I'm definitely a "Clark snob". They're pricey, but to me they're worth 10 times what they cost.

    Pure luxury!

You'll be happy...there's a world of difference between the two. My daughter has a NA and I have the NX 250 so I know from first hand experience. The 250 is like being in a tent but suspended in air. It's so sweet.

I wasn't..... until now..... I'm gonna be laying awake in my hammock staring at the sky for months after that one.

Pulled the trigger on a new NX-250 last night. Now the waiting game. Anyone in the market for a used North American?

The wait time shouldn't be that long.
They shipped mine within 48 hours, unless they didn't have one in-stock,you shouldn't wait too long!

Hope so. When I talked to them about shipment it was "Hmm, geez, we're selling them faster than we can make them but we'll do our best", which is basically code for we don't have any in stock and don't have enough manpower to keep up or only make them to order anyway.
