It was very Benny Hill, and it reminded me alot of Tom and Jerry also. You get so much out of the video, visually, that it's only after that you notice the character(s) never uttered a word through the whole thing. Wonderful work. I hope to see more Slopes.

This was my third dance with Microsoft Movie Maker, so I'm still learning how she likes to dip, but I'm starting to get the hang of it.

Questtrek - UnderQuilt is homemade. It was my first major sewing, er, Gear Making project. Between the ten length-wise baffles,
and salvaging the down from and old 70's jacket (weighing out in toilet paper tubes,etc.) it took me f-o-r-e-v-e-r. It's 2/3 and
what's got me really stoked is, I recently added a strip of elastic and a bunch of snaps to my Down Vest and it now doubles as
the final 1/3 to my bottom insulation, a footbox quilt if you will. I tested it this trip and am happy to report toasty toes all night.

Nope not an OHM. It's actually a 65L Hi-Tec pack that I got at a
Big 5 clearance sale for $25 (75%off)! If you haven't noticed from my posts, I'm way low budget over here. It was my first
departure from Flea Market Find external frame packs and after I removed the alum. stays and [x]'d the lid it was about
3.5 lbs and held my 50lbs load very nice. Now that my load has evolved down to around 20-25lbs, everything has a place,
the suspension is overkill and therefore luxurious, and I have extra room if I want to squeeze in a ukulele or something.
I'm getting to the point where I'm ready to go "pack smaller" (last evolutional step) and am very intrigued by the ULA line.
Any idea which one might be right for me ?

gRaFFiX - I went to an area on the western slope of the Central Sierras near Shaver Lake. Dinkey Creek rd. and
Ross Crossing rd. to be exact. Then I wandered down Ross Crossing rd. past Dinkey Meadows Creek and then just off into the
slush a mile or so. A really beautiful area, about an hour from home. One of my "goto's" for sure.

It's only 5'6" by 5'6" but on the diagonal it just covers my hammock enough to protect me
from sun, dew, and a light vertical rain. I've even been under it in a freak snow/hail event, you know the little styrofoam
ball stuff. Anywho, it weighs 12.85 oz with the stuff sack and tensioner guylines (I trimmed off the corners and lost 2oz.).
It's stuffs down to about the size of a softball and only cost $20 and about an hour at the Gear Making machine. I figure
I'm "good to go" in three season where I'm from, but I would really like one of Scott's Winter Dream tarps for winter.
My Mrs. was all excited to order one for me for my birthday on Thursday, but that's obviously not going to happen.
Anyone know when he expects to be up and running again?

So, thanks again eveyone for your words of support. I want to make another video (I already have a song in mind!) but I need
to get another battery for my camera. Would you believe that I filmed all that on only one? The time lapse sunset nearly did me in!

Try EBay for your camera battery. That's where I got mine. Alot cheaper than on the camera models website at least

I think that by looking at the pack you had on and your now light load .... a ULA OHM may just be a good fit.
If not the next size up .... Circuit.
