Sit-up. Swing legs out by pivoting 1/4 turn on your butt. Put feet on ground. Stand up. There are other ways but I think that's the easiest.

My guess would be that you're hangin to low to the ground. When you try to get out, your knees end up in your chest and your balance is thrown off. Try hangin your suspension alittle higher off of... well whatever it is that you're hangin on.

heh... I've been stuck in a top loader. The only way I can get out is with an assist rope strung across. That's why I am a proponent of the HH bottom entry. It is all I can use out in the field. I've tried everything that has been suggested to me. The next best thing for me is to put ,y legs out on either side of the hammock. Grab the fabric and pull myself up. But with a bugnet that really don't work well.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I have the Skeeter Beeter Pro as well. The way I get out is rotate and hang feet out of hammock and then put feet on ground start walking backwards. At least that's what I did at first. Now after having it awhile I now hang it a little lower and just swing legs out onto the ground and stand up.
The more you hang with it you will find that sweet spot and getting out will be alot easier. One other thing don't hang it very tight as this makes it harder to get out and you can possibilly scratch the back of your legs on the zipper(yes I have done this).
