    Cuben Fiber Dry Bag

Check out the Cuben Fiber Dry Bag I built. It is 14" tall and 9" wide and will hold 5 Liters.. I built it using the .75oz cuben fiber which is the same stuff I am building my tarps out of. It weighs 18.8 grams (.66 ounces). It is 100% water tight..

Very nice...just a normal stiff webbing and buckle at the top?

    Yep

Yep.. I filled it full of water and tested it for 24 with no leaks. It isn't air tight around the buckle area though... I would like make my next one 100% air tight so it could be used as a pillow...I used the heavier weight cuben then the Granite Gear cuben drybags which really help for abrasion and holes. If you were to ever poke a hole in it you could do a field patch with some duct tape and then fix it back home with some silicone..

Great job - and probably bombproof. I've been seriously overstuffing .48 oz cuben stuff sacks for a while, and see no abrasion so far. I assume you folded it over to tape so it's in shear rather than peel. How did you handle the bottom corners? Also, how wide are your bonded joints (taped or glued)?

It's 100% taped. 1/2"... The bottom is folded so its in shear and not in peel.. Its pretty bombproof..
